Welcome to Choix Maison. This Return & Refund Policy outlines the terms under which returns, refunds, and exchanges are accepted for purchases made through our website.

1. Eligibility for Returns
Customers may request a return within 30 days of receiving their order.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition that you received it
- The item must be in its original packaging
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) must be provided
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including:
- Perishable goods
- Personalized or custom-made products
- Gift cards
- Hygiene-sensitive items (if opened or used)

3. Return Process

- Photos of the product (if damaged or defective)
Once your request is approved, you will receive return instructions.
⚠️ Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.
4. Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect
- Shipping costs are non-refundable
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service
Choix Maison is not responsible for lost or undelivered return packages.
5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
In such cases:
- We will offer a replacement or full refund
- Return shipping costs (if required) will be covered by us
Failure to report issues within this timeframe may result in rejection of the claim.
6. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected:
- You will be notified of approval or rejection
- If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method
Processing times:
- Refund approval: within 5–7 business days
- Bank processing: 5–10 business days (depending on provider)
7. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund:
- Check your bank account again
- Contact your credit card company
- Contact your bank

8. Exchanges
We replace items only if they are defective or damaged.

9. Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase.
After this period:
- Orders may already be processed or shipped
- Cancellation requests may no longer be possible
10. Refused or Undeliverable Packages
If a package is refused or cannot be delivered due to:
- Incorrect address
- Failure to collect the package
We reserve the right to:
- Deduct return shipping and handling fees from the refund
- Issue a partial refund only
11. Chargebacks and Disputes
If a chargeback is initiated without contacting us first:
- We reserve the right to dispute the claim
- Supporting documentation (tracking, delivery confirmation) will be provided
